Our Board of Directors is a volunteer group that meets approximately 4 times per year. The main responsibilities of the Board of Directors include planning the Fall and Spring Conference, advocating for quality programs by working with policymakers across the state and communicating the importance and value of the health and physical education profession.

Are you interested in serving on the ASAHPERD Board of Directors or do you know someone that would be an asset to our Board?

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Be an active member of ASAHPERD (5 years for President-elect; 1 year all other offices)
2. Reside or work in the state of Alabama
3. Have demonstrated leadership in HPERD or coaching
4. Have served on the Board of Directors for at least 1 year (President-elect only).
